How to register EPF i-Akaun online through i-Akaun application
You can activate your EPF i-Akaun through the i-Akaun application as follows:
- Visit any nearby EPF branch or kiosk;
- Visit the website www.kwsp.gov.my;
- Select Login and click on i-Akaun (member). Alternatively, you can register for i-Akaun by downloading the i-Akaun EPF mobile app;
- Enter the user ID (EPF membership number) and the temporary password you received via SMS;
- After successfully logging in, reset your user ID, password, passphrase and select your security image;
- Accept the terms and conditions and your activation is complete.
- After the activation is complete, you will receive a success notification on the screen.
How to register EPF i-Akaun through self-service terminal
In addition, you can easily register for an i-Akaun via the Self-Service Terminal (SST). You can register for EPF i-Akaun in the following five steps:
- Select the i-Akaun registration menu on SST;
- Review and confirm your personal information;
- Set your user ID, password, security image and passphrase;
- Wait for the notification confirming that the activation of your EPF i-account has been successful;
- Scan the QR code to download the EPF i-Account application on your mobile phone.
How to register EPF i-Akaun through email
Along with online registration through i-Akaun and Self-Service Terminal (SST), EPF i-Akaun registration can also be done through email as follows:
- Download the EPF i-Account (Member) registration form and fill in all the necessary information;
- Send the completed form by e-mail to (email protected). If the verification is successful, members will receive a user ID and a temporary password via SMS.
