Singapore Government Payouts 2025
The Singapore government has launched the CDC Voucher Program for Singaporeans to support them in purchasing essentials and help them save money. The CDC voucher scheme has been in place since 2020 to reduce the financial burden on citizens and ensure that households can afford to live.
In 2024, the government announced a $600 CDC voucher with the Community Development Council, where the government decided to offer the government payment in two equal installments of $300. The government processed the first tranche in June 2024, and the next one was scheduled for January 2025.
Now, Singaporeans are waiting for the CDC voucher payout for January 2025. According to the government, the USD 300 CDC voucher payout will be offered to eligible households digitally in January 2025. The CDC voucher payout date is not yet fixed, however, based on the June 2024 payout, Singaporeans can expect the government to pay out between January 25 and 30, 2025.

- Persons living in Singapore, where at least one member of the household has Singapore citizenship;
- Only one person in a family can get a CDC voucher who is a Singaporean citizen. Each family member can use a CDC voucher to purchase household items.

Is there an application process for Singapore Government CDC Voucher payment 2025?
The Singapore government will automatically process CDC vouchers for eligible Singaporeans based on government information recorded through income tax, benefit application or Singpass details.
Community Development Councils across Singapore administer the CDC Voucher, and government agencies are responsible for distributing the vouchers to eligible Singaporeans. The CDC voucher will be delivered digitally to the RedeemSG platform, which they must use to redeem the vouchers for shopping.
According to the government, households eligible for the CDC voucher will receive a letter from the government to request a CDC voucher from the official website at through their Singpass login credentials. You can follow the steps below to claim your CDC voucher from January 2025:
- Once you login to the platform with your Singpass login credentials, you can find the January 2025 CDC Vouchers in the Redeem section,
- Then, when you click on it and enter your Singpass login again,
- After you enter your Singpass login credentials, you will receive a message on your registered mobile number.
The text message will contain details of the January 2025 CDC voucher with a link to the CDC voucher which you can share with your family members to give them access to use the voucher and shop around participating supermarkets, retailers or homewares retailers.
Where can you spend CDC vouchers for January 2025?
Under the CDC voucher scheme, recipients can use the voucher at participating supermarkets, retailers or retailers who say they accept the CDC voucher as a payment option for goods and services. When you tap Show voucher, you can see your voucher balance where you can select your amount through smaller numbers from $2 to $10, and once you select the final payment to pay, a QR code will be generated on your screen. You have to show this QR code to the shopkeeper, salesperson or at the supermarket checkout to pay for the items you have purchased.
Now, people who do not have a smartphone or Singpass can request support to use CDC vouchers from their nearest Community Club/centre or call the PA Contact Center on 6225 5322 from Monday to Sunday between 8am and 6pm.
Are there any CDC voucher expiration dates until January 2025?
Singaporeans should know that the CDC voucher comes with an expiry date, just as the June 2024 CDC voucher expiry date was 31 December 2024, so Singaporeans should keep the expiry date in mind as it will become invalid after the expiry date.
Recipients will see the expiration date listed on the CDC voucher as January 2025 when they click on the CDC voucher link. Therefore, you should use the voucher before the expiration date, and if you could not, you can donate it before the expiration date.
