Fire warnings remain critical with parts of southern California continuing to see high risk despite low winds and rising humidity, BBC Weather forecaster Paul Goddard said.
There is no rain in the forecast for California next week.
Officials are also monitoring Santa Ana winds, which are blamed for fueling the fire. Winds are forecast to return early next week, prompting a high risk red flag warning.
The wind can bring a gust of 30-50mph (48-80km/h).
The Palisades Fire, the largest to burn, has seen no fire growth as firefighters work to contain the flames, according to Jim Hudson, a Cal Fire incident manager.
It has burned 24,000 acres. More than 20% had been contained by Thursday morning.
“There is extreme danger and extreme heat still around the perimeter and interior of this fire,” Hudson said during a news conference in Malibu on Wednesday.
Mr Hudson added that 5,100 personnel had been deployed to put out the fire.
“As we move forward, we will continue to improve the content when we feel it is safe and that safety is not only life and property, but also the growth of fire as well,” he added.
