Ashes 2025-26: Australia announce 14-man for Gabba test, pat cummins still out

Cricket Australia (ca) have announced a 14-man squad for the upcoming second Gray test against ENGLANDset to take place at the Gabba in Brisbane. The announcement confirmed that the key fast starters, captain pat cummins and josh hazleks, remain sidelined.

Despite the recent spasms in the nursing test, USME Iman Khawaja retained a point in the squad. Fitness will be key, as he is expected to vacate the top order.

While Sanki’s lackluster performance keeps the bench strong and Joshs Inlis, Michael Neser and Webster are available as cover, though only essential.
