Canada will host Brazil in February in the first round of Davis Cup tennis qualifiers.
The qualifying tie will be played on February 6-7 or February 7-8. Tennis Canada will confirm details _ including the level of play and location _ at a later date.
The draw for the first round of 26 Davis Cup qualifiers was held by the International Tennis Federation on Sunday.
Canada defeated first-round qualifiers Hungary 3-2 last year after falling 2-0 down to force a fifth and deciding match. The team then eliminated Israel 4-0 in Halifax in September ’26 to avoid the World Group I playoff stage.
