Dallas Wings Win Lottery for First Pick in 2026 WNBA Draft


The Dallas Wings will pick first in the WNBA draft for the second straight year.

Dallas won Sunday’s draft lottery, earning the right to pick at the top of the 2026 draft in April. They had a 42 percent shot at winning the top pick in 2025 after posting a 10-34 record.

Some of the top prospects in contention to move up in the draft include UCLA center Lauren Bates, Spanish center Ava Faim, TCU point guard Olivia Miles and UConn guard Izzy Fed.

As expansion franchises, the Toronto Tempo and Portland Fire will be immediately behind the lottery teams with the sixth and seventh picks.

Who is the owner will be decided by a coin flip at a later date.

5. Chicago Sky (via Connecticut)
