Eric Adams to limit the public agenda to avoid medical trials

New York City Mayor Eric Erim will keep a limited public schedule this week as he attends doctor’s appointments and undergoes regular medical tests, his office said Monday.

“During the last few days, Adams was not feeling the best,” Fabien Levy, Moa Adams’ spokesman, said Mr. Adams, on social media when he made the announcement.

Mr. Levy did not specify the circumstances or provide other details about the mayor’s health. Mr. Adams, 64, “will continue to communicate with the workforce and ensure the business of the city,” Mr. Levy said.

“Like other adults, other mayors, Adams has the right to privacy, but we will continue to talk about unforeseen circumstances but we cannot fully release his duties to the special day,” he said.

This is an advanced story.
