Houses and streets were flooded by the floods of Brazil

A state of emergency has been declared in southern Brazil after heavy rain caused flooding in coastal towns including Balneário Camboriú and Itapema.

Footage shows a partially submerged car navigating a flooded road with Itapema Mayor Alexandre Xepa calling for help and rescue assistance.
