Kate was well prepared for the hot Sydney sun, at one point seen holding a stylish Loewe beach hat.
However, it appears the $905 denim and calf leather ‘Fisher Hat’ was not for her own sun protection, but for one of her daughters, Sophia or Grace.
Her husband, Luke, looked casual and summery in a pair of plain green shorts.
With his hair slicked back, the former NRL star completed his ‘dad bod’ look with a pair of black sunglasses.
The pair appeared to be having a great time as they caught the Christmas rays, with Kate smiling happily as she walked on the sand after a swim in the shade.
With her wet hair slicked back, Kate wrapped herself in a towel before sitting on the sand to take in the scene.
She was joined by Luke who stood over his wife as the pair talked.
Earlier this year, Kate and Luke listed a stylish apartment in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

They set a tentative price of $900,000 for the two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment in Potts Point.
Waterhouse bought the unit as an investment property in 2010 for $525,000 and has been renting it out for a whopping $900 a week.
After two auctions and no takers, Kate finally sold the block in July for $955,000.
Located on the second floor of an apartment block in the heart of Sydney’s famous Kings Cross nightspot, 2km from the CBD, this unit offers a modern slice of city life.
Kate, who is the daughter of Gai Waterhouse and bookie Robbie Waterhouse, is known for her lavish lifestyle.
Kate and Luke made headlines in 2020 when they splashed out a whopping $17.8 million on a mansion on Sydney’s North Shore.
Located on sought-after Balmoral Beach, the luxurious space has five bedrooms and stunning sea views.
Tom Waterhouse, Kate’s brother, meanwhile, also owns a $13 million beach house in the same suburb.

The new mum-of-two kept accessories to a minimum for the beach outing, opting to adorn her neck with subtle gold glitter
