Katy Perry has revealed the sweet Christmas tradition she shares with her fiance Orlando Bloom and their four-year-old daughter Daisy every year – and it also includes neighbors such as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The pop sensation, 40, took to the stage in London on Wednesday night for the filming of her ITV concert special, Night of a Lifetime, and told the audience her plans for Christmas Eve.
She revealed that the day before December 25, she would dress up as the Grinch and sing to her neighbors. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex live near the singer and her actor partner in Montecito, California.
She told the crowd: ‘We’re going to be at home doing something we do every year, which is to rent a buggy and dress up to go to all the neighboring houses in my hometown.
‘I dress up as the Grinch, which I got for us from Amazon, and we go sing songs, I don’t know if anyone knows it’s like that, but yes, we go to people’s houses singing songs.
‘Sometimes there’s hot cocoa and I’m dressed as the Grinch and it’s going to be great fun.

The singer Roar and Orlando got engaged in 2019, and the following year they had a daughter. Orlando also shares son Flynn, 13, with ex-wife, model Miranda Kerr.
Katy and British actor Orlando are close neighbors of Harry and Meghan and the couples have become friends.
The pair were reportedly among the guests invited to the Duke and Duchess’s daughter Princess Lilibet’s third birthday at their £20 million mansion in the posh Californian enclave favored by many A-list stars.
This isn’t the first time Katy has dressed up in an unusual costume for the festive season, having previously dressed up as a Christmas tree.
Just hours before she sang her 2018 song Cozy Little Christmas on The Disney Holiday Singalong, Katy was decked out head-to-toe in a green Christmas tree with several ornaments on her.
‘Why cut a tree when you can BE a tree. Looking forward to Cozy Little Christmas mom tonight on @abcnetwork at 8/7c,’ Katy said in her caption.
Elsewhere during her performance in London, Katy revealed that Orlando is a better cook than her and said she would make turkey or ham for Christmas dinner.
During the filming of the special concert, Katy wowed by showing off her impressive figure in a blue combination and tall silver metallic boots.

Katy Perry: Night of a Lifetime will be one of a series of 90-minute specials broadcast on ITV and ITVX featuring a number of special guests.
The exclusive event will feature unforgettable performances of many of Katy’s iconic hits including ‘Firework’, ‘Roar’ and ‘I Kissed a Girl’, as well as special performances from her latest album, 143 – a first for the ITV audience.
Ahead of the night, Katy said: ‘I’m SO thrilled to transform Central Hall Westminster for this very cool and enjoyable evening for my UK fans.
‘I can’t wait to return to London, one of my favorite places in the world, for this up close and personal dance party of a LIFETIME.’
Alex Scott and girlfriend Jess Glynne, as well as Ashley Roberts, Gemma Collins, Kate Garraway and Olivia Attwood were among the stars in attendance during the star-studded evening.
In April of this year, Orlando reflected on how he first ‘fell in love’ with the performer in the podcast What Now? With Trevor Noah.
‘One of the things I fell in love with about Katy was, I’m not really – she hates it when I say it, so I have to put it carefully – but her music was everywhere, wasn’t it?’ the Pirates of the Caribbean star recalled.
‘When I came on, it was on every radio station, but I wasn’t aware of it – like it wasn’t what I was listening to,’ he admitted.
‘But I fell in love with Katheryn, that girl from Santa Barbara – and by the way, parents, pastors, living on food stamps. We’re not talking about glamor, Montecito,’ he remarked.

Katy spoke candidly about growing up in a poor family, going back to food banks and sometimes even taking the bus as a teenager.
Orlando grew up in boarding school in England before landing a starring role in The Lord of the Rings when he was two days out of drama school.
He said he and Katy ‘both came together understanding where we came from, what we worked to do, what we had to do to get where we got to.’
Orlando explained that the Firework hitmaker ‘definitely requires me to evolve, doesn’t he? And I feel I do the same for her. And that makes for fireworks, pardon the pun, but it also makes for a lot of fun and a lot of growth.’
He added: ‘And, you know, I wouldn’t trade it for anything, even when sometimes it feels like, ‘How are we going to do it?’ Because we have these two giant careers and lives, and hers is even, you know, she has even – sometimes it’s like the universe.’
Katy was previously married to Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012.
