Khloe Kardashian revealed why she and her two little ones are giving away the legendary Kardashian Christmas Eve this year.
The annual celebration, first hosted by Kris Jenner in 1987, has evolved from an intimate family gathering into a glamorous, star-studded event.
In recent years, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian have taken turns as hosts, complete with extravagant themes, luxurious decor and an A-list guest list.
But this year, Khloe and her children — True, 6, and Tatum, 2, who she shares with ex Tristan Thompson — have been sidelined by illness.
“Tatum was sick all weekend, now my TuTu is sick,” she wrote on Instagram just hours before the event. ‘For the first time in a long, long time, we will miss Christmas Eve. I feel so terrible for my sick little ones.’
She added: ‘It’s not fun but I pray we’ll be ok for Santa tomorrow!!!’

This comes after Kim recently revealed that this year’s Christmas Eve party will be less flashy compared to previous years.
Kim explained that the gathering will be a little more ‘intimate’ this year due to ‘construction’ work.
Speaking to Vogue, Kim shared: ‘Just because we have a lot of work in progress, so we’re doing a really intimate family event which I’m really excited about.’
However, that won’t stop the family from being glammed up.
Kim added: ‘I still dress up, because that’s what we do.’
The Skims founder – who has North, 11, Saint, nine, Chicago, six, and five-year-old Psalm with ex-husband Kanye West – says the parties are so legendary that even their children’s friends wish they could attend.
She promised to maintain the holiday family tradition.
She said: ‘They are just getting started. Our kids love them and now all their friends want to come. It’s such a fun tradition.’
