Lightning’s Nikita Kucherov, Braden Point exit game vs. Capitals with injury


Kucherov was hit by a hit from Tom Wilson that knocked him into the referee in the second round.

Kucharov, the reigning two-time (and three-time overall) Art Ross Trophy winner, has nine goals and 12 assists in 19 games this season.

The 32-year-old Russian won the Hart Trophy as the league’s MVP in 2018-19.

In addition, the Lightning also proceeded to injure Brayden Point as he exited in the third round.
