The Boston Red Sox got: RHP Sonny Green, Cash
The St. Louis Cardinals acquired: LHP Brandon Clark, RHP Richard Fitts
The Red Sox bring in a three-time All-Star in Green, who is two years removed from being an AL Green Young finalist with the Minnesota Twins. The 36-year-old had a 4.28 ERA with a 1.234 WHIP in 2025, but projects to improve with better defense, as he posted a 3.39 FIP.

Joel Pozo, C
Team: St. Louis Cardinals
Agreement: one year
Details: Pozzo returns to the Cardinals in 2025 after playing 67 games with St. Louis. The 28-year-old backstop posted a .637 OPS and hit five homers in his longest stretch of MLB action.

Phil Matton, RHP
Team: Chicago Cubs
Agreement: Two years with team option for 2028
Details: After splitting 2025 between St. Louis and Texas, Matton will land in Wrigleyville to bolster the Cubs’ bullpen. In 61.1 innings last season, the 32-year-old right-hander posted a 2.79 ERA, striking out 81 batters and saving five.

Weimar was DFA’d by the Marlins earlier in the week. The 25-year-old had just 55 at-bats in 2025, posting three home runs and a .715 OPS.

Beau Briske, RHP
Team: Detroit Tigers
Agreement: A year, $1,157.5 million
Details: Brieske is coming off a down year in the Tigers’ bullpen, pitching to a 6.55 ERA and 1.636 WHIP in 22 appearances. He struggled against the long ball, giving up five home runs in 22 innings.

Matt Vierling, UTIL
Team: Detroit Tigers
Agreement: One year, $3.255 million
Details: In his third season in Detroit, Matt Werling had only 100 plate appearances in 31 games that season due to injury. In those appearances, he slashed .239/.310/.307 for a .617 OPS. The five-year pro has a career OPS of .708.

Jack Bowers, 1B/OF
Team: Milwaukee Brewers
Agreement: A year, $2.7 million
Details: The Brewers and Bauers avoid arbitration with a one-year deal. In just 85 games this season the 30-year-old slashed .235/.353/.399 with a .752 OPS. He also hit seven home runs last season, and has 58 home runs in his six-year career.

Mauricio Dubon, UTL
Team: Atlanta Braves
Agreement: A year, $6.1 million
Details: Dubon was traded to the Braves on November 19, for infielder Nick Allen. The 31-year-old won a Gold Glove with the Houston Astros last season, the second of his career. He slashed .241/.289/.355 with an OPS of .644 in 2025.

Minnesota Twins get it: RHP Eric Ors
The Tampa Bay Rays get: RHP Jacob Custing
Orz emerged as a reliable piece of Tampa Bay’s bullpen in 2025, posting a 3.02 ERA in 41.2 innings, but he will go to Minnesota for Custing, a 14th-round pick in the 2024 draft.

Gomez heads for a new team
Chicago White Sox get it: OF Everson Pereira and INF Tanner Murray
The Tampa Bay Rays get: RHP Yoendrys Gomez and RHP Steven Wilson
After playing for three teams in 2025, Gomes will change jerseys once again. The 26-year-old spent most of his career with Chicago, posting a 48.1 ERA in 4.84 innings and 12 appearances. Going the other way, Pereira picked up nine hits and two homers in 23 games last season.

Boston Red Sox get it: INF Tristan Gray
The Tampa Bay Rays get: RHP Luis Guerrero
The first of four trades the Red Sox made before the Nov. 18 deadline for teams to add players to their 40-man rosters, Boston traded Greenland from Tampa Bay. The 29-year-old utility infielder played in 30 games for the Rays in 2025, posting a .693 OPS.

The Rockies trade the speedy minor leaguer for a lefty reliever
The Boston Red Sox got: UTIL Braiden Ward
The Colorado Rockies got: LHP Brennan Bernardino
After making 55 appearances for Boston in 2025, Bernardino traded to Colorado for Ward, who stole 57 bases over two seasons last season. Bernardino had a 3.14 ERA and 43 strikeouts in 51.2 innings for the Red Sox.

Mariners, Red Sox swap minor leaguers
The Boston Red Sox got: C. Luke Hyman
Seattle Mariners get: RHP Alex Hoppe
The Red Sox and Mariners traded prospects, as Hope heads to Seattle in 2025 after making Triple-A, posting a 45.1 ERA over 4.76 innings. Heyman, meanwhile, heads the other way after being selected in the 14th round of last summer’s draft.

Kyle Hart, LHP
Team: San Diego Padres
Agreement: One year, $1.2 million (2027 club options)
Details: Hart, 32, went 3-3 with a 5.86 ERA and 1.19 WHIP in six starts and 14 relief appearances for the Padres in 2025. He began the season as the No. 5 starter, spent time in the minors and returned to San Diego as an effective reliever in the club’s nine-season stretch.

Kansas City Royals get it: Cameron Misner J
The Tampa Bay Rays get: Cash consideration or a player to be named later
The Royals added some depth to their outfield in the form of Misner, who appeared in 71 games for the Rays in his rookie season. The 27-year-old slashed .213/.273/.345 with five homers, 22 RBIs and eight stolen bases.

Lady Tavares, of
Team: Baltimore Orioles
Agreement: A year, $2 million
Details: The Orioles reportedly added a depth outfielder in Taveras, who split just 58 games between the Texas Rangers and Seattle Mariners last season, posting a .205/.226/.304 slash line with three home runs and 17 RBIs.

Baltimore Orioles get it: RHP Andrew Kittredge
When did Chicago get: Cash consideration
After being dealt to the Cubs from the Orioles at the 2025 trade deadline, Kittredge returned to Baltimore after posting a 3.40 ERA, 64 strikeouts and 11 walks over 53 innings split between the two teams.

Keegan Thompson, RHP
Team: Cincinnati Reds
Agreement: A year, $1.3 million
Details: After pitching in Triple-A for all of 2025, Thompson will look to recapture the form that led him to a 2.67 ERA with 36 strikeouts in 30.1 innings for the Chicago Cubs in 2024.

Rays add depth to the outer field
Tampa Bay Rays get it: Off Ryan Rested
Cincinnati Reds get: Cash consideration
The Rays get Willad to switch with the Reds. The 26-year-old has played in 28 MLB games since 2021 with four different franchises. In 2025, he collected one hit in 15 plate appearances.

Dietrich Enns, LHP
Team: Baltimore Orioles
Agreement: One year, $2.6 million with a club option for 2027
Details: This new deal replaces the club option the Orioles had on Enz through 2026. The left-hander had a 4.08 ERA, 34 strikeouts and 11 walks over 28.2 innings with Baltimore last season.
