The 32-year-old had a strong season with the Mariners in 2025, batting .265 with 26 home runs and 78 RBI in 138 games.
He was a star in the playoffs, hitting two home runs in a game against Detroit Tigers Cy Young winner Tarik Scoble before cracking a walk-off single later in Game 5 to send the Mariners to the ALCS.
A native of the Dominican Republic, Polanco spent most of his career in Minnesota, playing for the Twins from 2014-2023, and making an All-Star game in 2019 before being traded to Seattle in early 2024.
