The younger Curry signed with the Warriors in the offseason but was waived before the start of the regular season. Reports at the time said the Warriors intended to bring Curry back in the offseason.
Curry, 35, is an NBA journeyman, having played for nine teams in 12 seasons. The Warriors will be his 10th team.
He averaged 68 points per game in 6.6 games with the Charlotte Hornets last season. He also shot over 45 percent from three-point range.
The Oldtimers have led the Warriors to an 11-10 record, good for eighth in the NBA’s Western Conference. As a team, the Warriors are shooting 35.9 percent from three-point range.
