Roslovic will miss “a few weeks,” per Knoblauch.
The forward has missed practice after blocking a shot in Tuesday’s 8-3 loss to the Dallas Stars. He played just 11:09 in the outing and scored in the third period, but was held out for extended periods in the second.
The 28-year-old Columbus, Ohio, native has 10 goals and eight assists in 23 games in his first season with Edmonton, averaging 17:20 of ice time per night.
In addition, Kapanen “will be at least a week, maybe several weeks,” said Knobloch, who added that the team is still waiting for more information.
Kapanen, 29, has been on long-term injured reserve with an undisclosed injury since Oct. 19 and appeared to suffer a concussion during Thursday’s practice. He was visibly frustrated as he left the ice, knocking down a rack of sticks.
Jake Wallman will also miss Saturday’s game against the Kraken but is “making progress,” per Knobloch, and could return next week.
“I know he got on the ice today – haven’t heard how it went – but yeah, we don’t expect him to play Saturday,” the coach said. “Hopefully, we can get him in the next week.”
The 29-year-old from Toronto has not played since Nov. 20 and will miss his third straight game. He has three goals and seven assists in 17 games this season.
The Oilers are expected to have Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (undisclosed) and Curtis Lazar (upper body) back in the lineup against Seattle.
Edmonton has dealt with injuries this season and is sixth in the Pacific Division with a 10-10-5 record.
