The Oilers bounced back nicely after losing to the Dallas Stars 8-3 in Edmonton on Tuesday.

Joe Deckard stopped 21 shots for the Kraken, including eight in the first four minutes of the game. Seattle has lost three straight, two by shutout.

Nugent-Hopkins put Edmonton ahead with a power-play goal with 8:41 left in the first period, hooking a cross-ice pass from Evan Bouchard into the open left side of the net for his sixth of the year.

Draisaitl scored with a high slot on a shot with 7:30 seconds left. It was his 15th of the season and extended his point streak to eight games.

Then, with the Oilers on the power play, Draceil sent a pass from the right circle that bounced off the back of Hyman’s stick at the top of the crease. The puck got past Docord with 1:09 left before Heyman could turn around and go in for his first goal of the year.

McDavid added his 11th goal at 6:25 of the third.

Kraken went 0-for-6 on the power play. That includes a 5-on-3 advantage with 1:45 late in the box with Brett Kulik for high stacking and McDavid serving a bench minor for several men on the ice.

Edmonton converted both of its power play chances.
