A SpaceX rocket took off from Florida carrying two privately constructed lunar landers and a micro rover to the moon.
An uncrewed Falcon 9 launched Wednesday from the Kennedy Space Center.
Later on Wednesday, SpaceX is scheduled to conduct the seventh flight test of the Starship rocket. He finished first in the world last year after his part was filmed returning to the launch pad.
This comes days after the launch of Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin rocket was delayed due to “problems with the vehicle’s subsystem”.
